The Mövenpick Resort Hotel in El Gouna is located on the sea and on an artificial island surrounded by lagoons, 15 miles north of the Red Sea port of Hurghada. The Mediterranean Kafr El Gouna Village is about 800 meters from the hotel and offers, among other attractions, a museum, various restaurants and bars, a disco and an entertainment arcade.
A new extension to the existing operation is now up und running. The room number increased from 298 to 418. A new large pool along with a child pool (both heated) and the new "Lagoon Bar" has been added.
