Boldly opulent, yet unobtrusively landscaped into the Malilangwe
Private Reserve, the six star Pamushana Lodge has been voted one of Condé
Nast’s ‘21 hottest hotels in the world’. It is positioned
high on the edge of a rocky promontory overlooking a mountain backed lake.
Six extravagant villas with soaring thatched roofs, signature dry stone walls,
open fires and glamorous mosaic bathrooms are decorated with exotic artworks
from across Africa. Sliding glass walls open onto teak sundecks with telescopes
and private plunge pools whilst the lodge also has two stunning infinity pools,
a gym, sauna and an amazing frescoed dining room.
Such luxury in the bush is matched by magical wildlife that includes black and
white rhino amongst the big five. Individually tailored game walks and drives,
special interest safaris, canoeing and more can be arranged
The circular dining room is quite unique. The entire interior has been hand-painted with a detailed mural depicting the magic of the African bush, complete with wild animals and birds. There is also an 'al fresco' dining deck, overlooking the Malilangwe lake. Pamushana prides itself on excellent cuisine and attentive, but unobtrusive, service.
