Opened in 1909, and located at the hill of Nara Park, this hotel provides an excellent view of historic sites in Nara such as Daibutsu-den or Hall of the Great Budda, the five-storied pagoda in Kofuku-ji Temple.
The main building is built with the classical comfort of meiju-era architectural style. The new wing is built with "yoshino-style". An architectural style that is unique in this area. The hotel is also within walking distance to many tourist attractions such as Jodaiji Temple and Kofuku Temple Pagoda.
