Lone Pine is located at Batu Ferringhi on the northwestern coast of Penang Island. Established in 1948, the Lone Pine was the first hotel on Batu Ferringhi Beach. The hotel comprises two wings with one old but renovated section and one new block.
50 room hotel, two or three stories high, nearly all guest rooms face the sea and are spread out over 4 acres of gardens. Almost all guestrooms open out to a terrace, balcony or private courtyard. Deluxe rooms are furnished with two king-sized beds and a day bed. Rooms have satellite TV, IDD telephone and dataport line, refrigerator, mini-bar on request, tea/coffee making facilities, and in-room safe.
Standard rooms face the gardens. Superior rooms have balconies and face the sea and pool. Deluxe rooms face the sea and gardens. Super Deluxe rooms are all sea facing with terrace and patio.
