The house dates back in the 15th century and the well preserved basement rooms are from the Gothic period. The entrance portal is the result of the Baroque reconstruction of the house. The house facade is connected with the famous 17th century altar painter Peter Brandl, who was born and lived in the house.
The restaurants on the ground floor are beneath Renaissance ceilings and on the basement floors beneath Gothic vaults.
Hotel rooms on the higher floors have original period furniture. Rooms are equipped with shower or bathroom, TV-Sat, telephone, minibar.
