The Gulf Hotel, one of the first five-star hotels to rise on the island of Bahrain. Overlooking Gudaibiya Bay and 5 minutes from the city centre and ten minutes from Bahrain International Airport, the Gulf Hotel has views of the Guest Palace and Grand Mosque.
The Gulf Hotel opened its doors to the public in 1969. 1980 saw completion of the new 5-star luxury Tower with 236 rooms. The inclusion in 1997 of the Gulf International Convention & Exhibition Centre, provided 5-Star service, combined with the latest "state-of-the-art technology", for business conferences, exhibitions and private functions.
In October 1998, the Gulf Hotel opened its newly refurbished Reception and Lobby areas to the public. Having completed four months of building renovations.
