Established in the year 1973 by virtue of the efforts of its owner, Mr. Younis Mahmoud. Alcazar now is a recognized member of both the "Arab Hotel Association;" which includes 45 hotels in Jerusalem and the West Bank, and the "Israeli Hotel Association;" which embraces the majority of hotels in Jerusalem and Israel.
