Peppers Guest House is probably the best known and most highly awarded hotel in the Hunter Valley wine region. It is a lovely colonial country house style property set in pretty grounds looking out on the rolling hills of the Hunter.
Its two-storey accommodation building is set a few metres away from its central reception, bar, restaurant and conference area and its indoor pool. The central building is also warm and inviting with polished timber floors, colourful rugs, comfortable furniture and sandstone fireplaces. It is at the same time peaceful and relaxing and convivial. Its Chez Pok serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has won several awards in its own right. The guest lounge has an open fireplace and bar.
Peppers Guest House guestrooms are furnished in a warm, cosy country colonial style with antiques and bric-a-brac giving them a comfortable, lived-in feeling.
The hotel has an outdoor pool, and an indoor one with spa - essential when the weather gets cool in the Hunter. The energetic can use the hotel's tennis court or hire a bicycle to explore the nearby countryside.
