Tower Lodge opened its doors in August 2000. Located in the idyllic setting of Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley the Tower Lodge is the latest addition to Tower Estate, which comprises the Tower Winery, Robert's at Peppertree Restaurant and the less formal dining of Blaxland's Restaurant.
The Lodge has been designed to provide the ultimate in retreat conferencing. Tower Lodge was born by Hunter Valley icon, Len Evans AO OBE and fuelled by 13 prominent business friends. Len Evans has overseen every stage and development of the Lodge, even contributing his own antique treasures and collectables.
The exterior walls are an earthy, somewhat pink, pigmented render. Akin to a small village of great charm the Lodge has a central courtyard complete with fountain. The main building houses a reception and lobby area from where you pass through one of two massive, monastery doors to the lounge room and on into the banquet dining room.
Moving along the portico passageways bordering the courtyard are 12 highly individual, oversized guestrooms. Each suite has a lounge area, a bathroom with a shower and spa bath. All rooms have a feature, whether it be an open fire, a private courtyard, a fountain or an outdoor plunge tub.
