PJ’s Underground, White Cliffs, Far Western New South Wales

PJ's Underground is a unique bed & breakfast located underground in the pioneering township of White Cliffs, 255 km north-east of Broken Hill.

White Cliffs was the first commercial opal field of Australia and hot summer temperatures found opal miners living in the cool, constant 22 degree temperature of their mines after a hard day’s work.

PJ’s Underground offers three and a half-star accommodation for up to seventeen visitors in five guest rooms nestled under the 64 million-year-old roof of attractively renovated old mines in historic Turley’s Hill.

PJ's Underground welcomes visitors to enjoy the peace & tranquillity of the bush, experience the wonder of living underground and feel a little of the pioneering spirit of the living outback.
