Historic luxury accommodation at the northern end of the Blackall Range inland from the Sunshine Coast beaches. Offers beautifully appointed guest rooms opening on to a classic Queenslander verandah.
After settling in Flaxton in 1886, the Dixon family built Tanderra Homestead in 1903. The Dixons worked the 320-hectare property as a dairy, citrus and pineapple farm.
Nestled on the top of the stunning Blackall Range, Tanderra underwent restoration work in the late 70s which carefully retained its integrity as a classic Queenslander. In fact, the homestead still features the original pitsawn beech floors and is set amongst stately old trees and sky-reaching palms first planted by the Dixons all those years ago.
