Luxury B&B accommodation in historic homestead inland from
Cairns. The Honeyflow Homestead at Malanda on the Atherton Tablelands was the
home of early pioneers and was built in 1918. It was then converted to a guesthouse
in 1986.
1 hour south-west of Cairns.
Honeyflow Homestead is surrounded by one hectare of gardens with native and fruiting trees and shrubs which attract a myriad of bird species. At night, wildlife can be spotted at close range. Enjoy a relaxed stroll from the Honeyflow to see platypus in a creek.
There are 4 individual spacious suites, each containing your
own private bathroom, one or two bedrooms, private sitting room with tea/coffee,
refrigerator and TV. All suites have fans, heaters, electric blankets and open
on to the broad wraparound verandah.
Guest facilities include a comfortable lounge with open fireplace, the dining
room with pot-belly stove, the sunroom/breakfast room, a reading/games room
and laundry.
