Arcoona is an impressive National Trust building overlooking the picturesque Meander River in Deloraine. Deloraine's much loved family doctor, Frank Cole lived in this wonderful home from 1892 until his death in 1932. In designing his building, he took advantage of the commanding views of the Meander River & Western Tiers mountain range. Enjoy the grace of fine dining and accommodation in one of Tasmania's grandest homes where stained glass windows welcome you as you enter.
Blackwood mantles surround the fireplaces in the elegant rooms. The billiard room with original Alcock full size table is available for leisurely games. All bedrooms are spaciously designed with ensuite facilities.
Arcoona boasts three acres of heritage gardens with croquet lawn and relaxing walks. Deloraine has a wealth of attractions and is only an hour away from Cradle Mountain, Great Lake and Tamar Valley wineries, fly fishing and gourmet trails.
