This Georgian country estate was settled in 1826 by the son of an English lord. It is set in a valley with the Great Western tiers mountain range as a backdrop and features an ornamental lake, extensive grounds and gardens. There are six delightful guest rooms, all ensuited and individually decorated to reflect the period and relaxed feel of the estate.
On arrival enjoy afternoon tea in the drawing room or maybe a game of tennis to work up an appetite for a memorable evening dining at one of the nearby restaurants. After your meal a fireside port is a perfect end to the day.
Stroll through the beautiful Culzean Gardens, lunch at Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, taste wine at Tamar vineyards, or visit one of the many nearby National Trust houses. All of these attractions and many more are easily accessed as Hagley is centrally located just 25 minutes from Launceston.
