Palace Hotel is located in Kalgoorlie town centre. Completed on the 19 October, 1897,and designed to be the most luxurious hotel in town. Built for a cost of 17,000 pounds by architects Porter and Thomas of Perth and contractor J.D. Connolly, President (H.C.). Porter and Thomas were selected as the winners in a design competition.
