The Crossing is a carefully restored and furnished old English style manor house. Built in 1908 on 37 acres near the base of the Four Peaks Range and bordered by the Upper Waihi River. Located on the main route between Christchurch and Queenstown or Mount Cook, 3 km north of Geraldine.
The spacious lounges have open fires and ample leather seating. A shaded verandah overlooks the gardens. There is a grand piano in the Gentleman's Lounge, and a selection of board games and books.
