Located in a secluded garden setting, Fletcher Lodge is a few minutes walk from the city centre and from restaurants. Guests can relax in the panelled oak room which features a marble fireplace and overlooks a sunken garden. A carved staircase leads to the 4 guest rooms which are furnished with antique French and period furniture and have well appointed ensuite bathrooms.
Built by Sir James Fletcher in 1924 to serve as his private residence while he oversaw the construction of the New Zealand and South Seas Exhibition complex.
