The hotel is situated along the southern coast of Huahine Iti.
The Relais Mahana is a small and friendly family owned Tahitian style hotel with thatched roof beach and garden bungalows, a restaurant, and bar at the edge of the lagoon. It is the most secluded of the Huahine hotels and is located near the southern tip of Huahine-Iti, far from the relative bustle of Fare.
The quiet village of Parea is not far away. The hotel consists of 22 Tahitian-style bungalows. The restaurant and bar are situated at the edge of a white beach and lagoon.The hotel has a swimming pool as well as a beautiful white sand beach.
Complimentary activities pedal-boats, tennis, snorkeling equipment, tennis, and ping pong, windsurfing, snorkeling and outrigger canoes. A Tahitian dance show is presented weekly. Rental cars or bicycles and lagoon or land excursions are a few of the other options available.
