La Dauphine Estate is a 200 acre plantation with two colonial style houses dating back to 1890 with gingerbread fretwork, jalousie windows and shutters, but now refurbished for use as holiday rental accommodations. The four bedroom Great House and two bedroom Chateau Laffitte now offer all modern conveniences while retaining their colonial charm. A maid and cook are included.
The estate very secluded, some 4 miles south of the old French city of Soufriere, and surrounded by mountains and the jungle, the natural beauty and solitude will allow for a very quiet and relaxing holiday. The property is locally owned and managed jointly with Villa Beach Cottages.
Hiking along nature trails and tropical fruit fields, exploring the nearby rainforest, hot waterfalls, volcano, marine parks or relaxing on a beach with the Pitons towering above are all part of the La Dauphine experience.
